The Terracotta Army of Xi'an

The treasures of the first emperors of ancient China. The world famous warriors and hundreds of other artefacts from the Qin and Han dynasties, many never before seen outside China.

Where the legacy of the Chinese culture and our legacy from the former church area of the museum come together, we display this remarkable collection in a world of its own, seen through totally transparent cloths. Just as the emperors, with their Terracotta army, created their own world within a world during their time.

Visitors are offered a perfect view of the statues from a bridge which has been constructed specifically for this purpose. The magnificent colours, which the statues originally had, have now floated down as pigments which can be seen in the glass show cases, displayed on a base of wood blackened by fire. Colours that form a base for the light used.

Due to this mystical army from Xi'an, the emperor, who had been searching his whole life to find an elixir which would give him eternal life, has in fact become immortal to us.

西安兵马俑

西安兵马俑是中国秦代第一位皇帝的宝藏。
他拥有世界著名的士兵阵容。
在这次展会上展出来自秦代与汉代的100多件展品，
有些展品从未在中国以外的国家展出过。

这次中国文化的遗产和我们的遗产在我们的博物馆相
